FFXIV 2.0 .... drama llama central??

If they make it so your LS can only have one at a time, then people will fight over the one that is "best" for PvP/hardest raid. If they don't put a limit on amount you can hold, then the top LS will hoard them just to grief. If they make them too weak, no one will bother getting them. If they make them too strong, no one will PvP against them. If they make them instanced, it'll turn into WoW.

Really you can't win so just stop worrying about it.

Depends on how game-changing having the primals is. If its more like a trump card you can pull out when you're about to wipe on a boss, then I don't see it causing much drama (open world, even with time limits will create drama). If there will be notable benefits alongside being able to summon the primal, then...yeah.

2 weeks still feels a bit long but at least there's a time limit. I can still see people hoarding them for as long as possible though.

Hey, I'm down with that, cause at least I can train any Charizard to be resistant to water... XD

Honestly there would be no reason to horde if it can perform an action which acts as an instant win button why would people wait til the last minute to use it. Why wouldn't they just use it asap and send it back to the wild in an attempt to claim again.

Or perhaps your Free company is hit with summoning fatigue so you would have to wait a week before being able to claim another primal. In this sense people would also want to summon it asap cause let's say the 2 weeks pass and they don't use it, then they get hit with summoning fatigue and can't claim a primal for a week. Why would a Free company that took the time and effort to claim a primal hold it just to waste the time they spent in claiming it.

It would just be dumb lol. Any logical group would defeat the Primal, build up the summoning energy asap and attempt to make use of it as soon as possible so that they can work on being given the chance to claim it again.

I'm just worried this summoning system has a chance of hurting the chances of us getting the actual Summoner job. With it being the top wanted job i really hope they don't disappoint on that part. As long as we get the actual job then I'm all for this new type of system to control these for a special fight of your choice.

Open world HNMs are what the game actually misses. :D
