Yes and No. TO upgrade areas, increase sell value of items, supply and demand and all that of course, but if your making blues at a rate that's acceptable to you it's more of just saving them up.
thanks for the heads up OP, I don't like the Island, but that bike looks awesome
That bike would take someone about 2 weeks worth of decent sales to save up. Maybe a week and a half with the weekly challenges.
Anyone know if the bike has a flying animation or does it just float awkwardly?
Spending cowries to upgrade your Island and send out the mammet foraging teams (since only they can get part of what's needed to upgrade) is fine.
Once you've built your Lighthouse at Rank 9, you only need to spend them on the mammet foraging teams (assuming you want those rare materials for the more lucrative workshop items).
What you want to avoid is spending the cowries on the other vanity items if you want the chopper.
I've already made 11k cowries this week from 4 out of the 5 possible production days (final production day will be tomorrow) so it really shouldn't take that long if you focus.
In the meantime, who's up for a Lala chopper gang?
Even without this reward, that's good advice since you need cowries for expansions. And once you expand, you increase your ability to gain higher amounts of cowries. So for those wanting to be able to get rewards quickly, it will work out better to save and expand than to use the cowries the game gives on the rewards right away.
I ain't spending anything until I finish upgrading anyway, but good to know there's something super-expensive waiting.
So what rare mats do I need to send my mammets after for the rank 9 and 10 upgrades? Should hit it in a day or two.
