Island Sanctuary Teleportation

I can tolerate having to go through an extra step to get into Firmament, so this doesn't bug me too much.

I think it's probably more of a technical issue then an oversight personally.

This island is not a "home".

It's gatekept by EW and if you are idle for 30 minutes and you are kicked out.

Fine, then if you see people's engagement with the content start dropping then you know what went wrong and that I tried to advocate for the clear and obvious fix.

Plot twist, there is a giant aetheryte to excavate from your island.

What will go wrong is they have made too many stupid boneheaded decisions. No direct teleport isn't the biggest of them.

It would make sense to first only get there by boat and Lower La Noscea is the closest dock..
And later, through upgrading the island and increasing your rank, you can build an Aetheryte so everyone with access and the owner itself of course can teleport there. I hope they consider it for later upgrades of the feature because I think they would've mentioned it if it was already part of the upgrading process.

It's most likely a technical reason. I mean we're talking about everyone having their own island. That means they would need to set a different teleport for everyone individually. There's no instance I can think of where you can teleport straight to a personal area.

they know people will storm the island, like thousands of people will go there in an instant and the server can't keep up with it.
