That was originally their thing long before the glam dresser too: "well, adding an item into the armoire means dye and spiritbond and crafting signatures is reset because that's more data tied with it, and some dyes are expensive and people like crafting signatures, etc." but the dye argument no longer holds up because we can dye it when we drop it on to a glam plate. I don't know of anyone who actually cares about the crafting signature (I guess some do) and spiritbond% isn't a big deal anymore with the way they changed how it works when you extract materia from a 100% spiritbond item. At least being able to put items I have bought with real money into the armoire so I don't accidentally discard or have something happen would be a huge step in the right direction, especially since it would cut down on space in the dresser being taken up.
I'm still frustrated (and have been since 2.0) that I can't shove the rest of the AF gear beyond the i45 into the armoire :/ it's a stupid limitation.
Yes, and that's part of the problem.
There are three DIFFERENT systems setup to do the same thing. The armour is the one that's setup to interface with the glam system and reduces the demand for storage space in the glam dresser.
If those two other systems could be merged to the armiour the amount of space I need would drop from about 600 to only 150.
the armoire is limited because it would make the cap on the glamor dresser null and void.
I'd still find things to put into the dresser even if there was more things you could put into the armoire. At least things that would make sense to be in there.
