Thoughts on Island Santuary

I have the same questions regarding alts. And whether each of my alts can have their own Island.

I like it . Its pretty neat xD the only thing i wish is playing fetch with your doggos Mameshiba, Black Hayate and Chewy minion on island sanctuary lol

Use Sanctuary and ditch the current housing system for good as it is, the server resources could be used on better things than having wards, Private housing and FC's in those.

Creating and FC should just make one being able to buy an FC Hall that is instanced, and that would be it.

As for RP and the likes, it wont go away, it would just flourish elsewhere, likewise designated areas en mass inside the game, should make people willing to there if there is a party going on or whatever, also a way to demonitize 'VIP' passes and other things people come up with.

• all the reasons most grandfathering is done, and
• the population distribution nudge that limited ward housing provides:

I’m very hyped for it. It looks great. Wish we could have some of the features outside of it, like tending plants.

like all things new they will abuse it and they will shut it down to fix it.

It would make good sense to ditch all housing wards entirely, there is too many complaints about it that there is not enough, and then let people settle with the new sanctuary thing instead, FC's will have FC halls provided, that is instanced apartment wise would make more sense to everything as it is as it is rigth now.

I for one am tired of watching 'need more wards' threads, it would make sense if SE finally plugged it for good as it can't be handled as well as they want it to be, likewise it is an expensive and complex way that having to have additional hardware to run these wards that almost no one ever use.

The top two things that I like to do in MMOs are.....gathering and exploring. I am thinking I might just go for this. However, The developers had better be prepared for an explorer who is going to dig through every nook and cranny of this island before the base even gets built!

Mh no? Why do you want to throw the baby away with the bathwater? People want alternatives, not to have a system thrown away. And for every person who complains on the forums there are many others who are fine with how things are now.
I certainly wouldn't care about housing if it was instanced or even worse on an island.

Also, I'm tired of people thinking the sanctuary could in any shape or form be housing, when they're entirely different systems.
