On a very similar note
players who get gil, should instead have gil taken away from them
and if you get exp, you should lose it instead
This is a bad idea for multiple reasons.
First, there's a definite convenience benefit for casual players being able to purchase ready-made gear off of the AH with materia already on it, without having to worry about meld failures or finding a crafter.
Second, as described, this would also serve as a way to unsocket materia (in a recoverable manner) from a piece of gear, which isn't supposed to be possible.
It should be written:Quote:
A (good) idea very few will like.
Otherwise, if you take the parentheses part out, it would read:Quote:
'An (good) idea very few will like
Or, better yet, put 'good' in /airquotesQuote:
"A idea very few will like"
Perfect~Quote:
A "good" idea very few will like.
We already have an "auction house." There isn't one arriving in 2.0. There are overhauls and improvements coming, and many have already arrived.Quote:
When the auction house arrives with 2.0 have items posted with Materia in them stripped of their materia and returned to the sellers inventory.
Honestly, other than having to travel to a seperate area, what does the market do that an auction house doesn't?
We have searching, and index, both selling and buying both directly from the index and from the retainers if you so choose, and a price history. About the only thing missing is timed auctions (instead of buyouts), which isn't even really needed.
Anyway... I don't really see any "idea" in this thread. Something about player bazaars becoming useful? That's not an idea, it's an observation.
It's not a good idea if very few people like it.
Sounds like OP is just jealous he can't triple meld things.
...What? How about rather than saying people will flame you and hate the idea, spend that time saved not doing that explaining the PURPOSE of the idea and why people should like it.
Also, I'm still lost in what you are trying to suggest. >.<
