Seems like, dare I say, logical next step. Maybe even most logical??
I haven't been fan of the instanced housing request and I am still indifferent about the idea, but it is no skin off my nose.
We are at second round of lottery, which was supposed to make housing fair and better, and people hate it already with hellfire?
If instanced housing will kill the rabbithole of goalpost moving, then please, please, just bring it in.
+1
If SE want to keep their original housing ward system I think it's fine... but I also think if they're going to keep that system then they need to expand upon the apartment system. Maybe even make it into a minigame where you can upgrade it over time like an Animal Crossing home, lol.
Either that or they need to add enough wards so anyone who wants a house, can get one.
With possible future means of upgrading your plot's size, to give each plot an equal potential for growth.
+1 to instanced Housing until their(Yoshi-P's) 'vision' of "social neighborhood housing" is actually possible to EVERY paying customer of their game.
instanced housing sucks...
The issue with the "add more wards" crowd is that its not a sustainable way to scale a system for rising player numbers. Especially if you consider people who ONLY want a Medium or Large house.
Instanced Housing, while not as glamorous as the neighborhood system would a completely solve the issue entirely and let everyone get the house that they want.
And I really don't see why both systems can't coexist. You already can own a house, apartment and FC room at the same time. Whats one more?
I imagine there's going to be an omega amount of salt about this if Island Sanctuary turns out to be instanced lol
I agree, instanced houses alongside the current ward system would be the most logical way forward. The wards will never be able to meet demand and not everyone is into the neighbourhood. I honestly can't remember when I last saw a neighbour, some time last year perhaps.
Given the choice of a small house in a ward or an instanced house with a nice view and exactly the size that I want, I'd take instanced. I would definitely want it not to be subject to the timer though.
