Yes but there is a difference between blatantly just stealing other ideas and you know taking some inspiration from others.

As i said if you make every MMO the same it will only hurt the game in the long run. Better to make it your own instead of going around and literally stealing (WoW basically copy pasted GW2 in this case) from other games.

Ok so you go on a thread telling Hrothgar players that they won't see any improvements because they're 2% of the playerbase, knowing full well that Square has been having issues dealing with the system in general...

...but you're here asking for flight mechanics ripped off from WoW? :|

Why not? They are two completely separate issues.

The team which is implementing hrothgar fixes are not necessarily the same team which implement flight mechanics since they require different skillsets. Why do people always think that developers are one humongous blob of entity?

I would’ve rather not had flying at all. Travel is already too easy in this game it’s boring. However now that its here and super convenient removing it wouldn’t be the way to go. You’re just opening the door for others to complain about it.

Flying and teleportation turned every zone into barren wastelands. You’d be lucky to find more than a bot down there gathering.

Dragon Flying will be just flight patch toy limited to expansion zones. We know it, because they specificaly state that it isn't flying.

And some things from dragon flying we have in FF XIV for years. Like condensation clouds. And even better: If you have PS5 controller you have these special, subtle and diverse vibrations. It's something that WoW will not have, because it's developers do not care about controller support.

If there will be something like "mount acrobatics" in FF XIV, cool. But I would not give too much credit to this feature both in WoW and FFXIV. It's just 5 minute toy.

The game I feel WoW developers should be looking at is GW2.

Sure, their mount system would take a massive overhaul of FFXIV and probably not worth it, but that game has a lot of good ideas behind it.

Give me their glam system...I dont care about that terrible game other than that one feature.
