Viera ears don't seem placed right

What can I say, it's a thin line, especially combined with a(n almost) regular human face.

On the other hand if they were donkey ears it could hint at Viera being distantly related to Miqo'te, who themselves have horse ears (for some goddamn reason)

I'm probably in the minority here, but I prefer them where they are. I have two pet bunnies, and the current viera ear positioning is more similar to real rabbit ear positioning.

Viera ears in XIV aren't the same ears they had in XII
Something I've always disliked

If I could have an overhaul of ears, I'd have them all replaced by the Viera ears in XII
she even has spots. I just prefer Frans ears so much more
The ears in XIV look more like a hair that acts as a hat with ears while imo in XII their ears come off abit more natural to me.

I was so hopeful the males could have had Fran‘s ears at least. I don‘t really like any of the options at the moment. :(

This always bothered me since viera came out. The ear placement is right on top of the head instead of the side. :/
I feel like hat placement and hairs would be easier if the ears were more on the head and not right in the middle of everything. I can only assume the dev team did this to avoid them looking like miqtoe but with longer ears.

given the nearly constant complaints about viera and hrothgar from head to feet... you have to wonder if Yoshi P ever wishes he had never introduced them.

not saying anything is unfounded, but very few people seem happy with either for a variety of reasons

His biggest mistake was releasing both races at the same time. He should have went the route of Au ra in only adding each race one at time between a few expansions.

If Yoshi-P should regret anything, it should be that decision.
