But this is a similar problem that has been happening a lot longer. All of these types of issues should be addressed. They NEED more staff to handle these things, but are being tone deaf about it. It's not fair.

The question is whether the Team wasn't in the mood to develop more, or if Yoshida simply couldn't broker a new deal, and getting the old deal renewed is the most he was able to do.

There's always the spooky red ones from palace of the dead. Those look pretty cool, and they have current weapons.

Holy hell tho for real, this idea that ppl aren't getting things or that issues exist is because the devs are '' lazy '' is so completely clueless.
There's a good reason why it often upsets devs to hear it because there's few people who work harder than devs do and most of the issues aren't even their fault and they do what they can with what they have.

Maybe call the dev lazy when the Patch Note only half the length from the usual.

I'm just saying....I see nobody rocking any weps with effects from ARR, HW, and BARELY SB. It's mostly Ultimate glams and relics. When's the last time you've seen anyone rocking a Sophia wep? Or an Ifrit one? Maybe they noticed this as well and stopped allocating dev time to it

Not having interest in GARO itself or the Power Ranger armour, but really liking the Makai sets, I don't feel like we were robbed at all.

Having another class that can wear the butterfly hairpin is great, and I like all of the coats.

Honestly, at this point, I would actually like the Devs to say "You know what, we could bring back GARO, but we're not, because even though we go through a lot of effort to make it happen, people are just gonna complain anyway". Also with anything involving Viera and Hrothgar- people knew what they were signing up for, and sure more is always good...but at this point I think the Devs should really just focus on their core. It's fairly obvious they're stretching too much trying to please everyone.

YoshiP said its too much work to go back to add them for every instance possible. HW was different because there wasn't a lot of content to really add them to. Although he did mention to mrhappy before EW that they could go back to an ultimate and add new job weapons, it was a rather remote possibility though, one of those not very confident.

So they stopped during Stormblood as you can get a tome Gunbreaker weapon or an Omega from O12S, but the last raid tier weapon makes sense because they were likely done with the job by then and were just in the testing phases. It's the same deal with a Sage and Reaper weapon available in E12S
