ofcourse it's a bad thing when something interesting in a class is changed to appeal to people that aren't even playing it, can you look at what you're saying?

what if we somehow convince the devs to make DRK's unleash a cone eventhough we aren't DRK players then by your logic "It's not a bad thing"

also bringing up Xeno here is ridicolous when he has said multiple times that he doesn't do dungeons or really care for AOEs

This is false, standard players can just rotate their camera to do the same overpowers if they want if you're struggling to do that then it's a skill issue

a class should not be changed because people refuse to learn it when there's easier alternatives available but I'll suggest we make unleash into a cone to appeal to us cone enjoyers

If you have to turn around with standard, that means you have to stop or, at best, backpedal, which means you are no longer sprinting to the next pack and getting hit for no reason. That is not effectively my dude.

you don't have to stop at all, you're just very slow at adjusting your camera again that seems to be a you issue maybe you can change your keybinds better. since you love to bring up Xenos he is also the same guy that made this video on adjusting your legacy controls to be identical to standard it's so strange that you ignore that as an xenos fan

That honestly makes so much sense, makes me a little less bothered by the change. Still a bit sad to see WAR lose a bit of it's flavor, but with that line of thought, it's not intentionally dumbing down a job for the casual playerbase that doesn't wanna put an ounce of effort in. And it sounds like a pretty reasonable assumption.

You: No you don't, here is how you change controls to do backwards Overpower effectively.

I am using legacy, which is how I know how much of a pain it is when you don't use it, which is the default. But thanks for proving my point I guess?

this isn't about proving your point, I am advising you to switch to legacy which you're already doing but you still want to say "it's so hard to do X and Y" when you've already solved that problem yourself but standard players that aren't you can easily do that overpower by flinging their camera with their mouse

Wait what? The squad does this just fine. I have two warriors(sorry they are Marauders) as my tanks for my grand company squad because the gladiators can not pick up aggro for anything. They are worse at using circle aoes, so I don't know what ai they are using now, but dear gods help us if this is the case. They suck at using anything BUT Overpower T_T

Instead of attempting mind reading you should be reading what I wrote, since I've explained myself quite clearly: you have to stop sprinting to turn around on standard which means you will get hit.

Is it hard as in difficult to do? No.
Is it a pain (as in, annoying, but in this case also literal since you are taking unnecessary damage)? Yes.
Would it happen if you used circle aoe regardless of what control scheme you are on? No.
