New relic zone not announced yet

They could have meant that but it seems like such a strange way to word it since in all previous expansions it has always been called relic weapons or relic series. Not sure why they wouldn't use the already established language they created.

Yep, if Square Enix has it in the works, they would've announced it. I honestly think we aren't getting relic zones this expansion.

While they did say not all of the content in future patches was announced in the LL, I'm not terribly hopeful for a new relic zone with resources already being devoted to the Criterion and Island Sanctuary.

This roadmap did not include "standard content" that we already know about such as extreme trials and savage. Instead they said something along the lines of "we didn't put all the standard content but you'll still get everything else you're used to".

Yeah, that sound reasonable.
Three criterion dungeons. One in 6.35, a second in 6.45, and a third in 6.55, with 6.25 being the free weapon phase (Similar to how Bozja weapon started with being literally free/easy to get)

Awkward is watching people defend the forums main troll and trying to make others the villain.

I do not believe they will add a relic zone.

The new zone will be the island for individuals and relics will focus on FATES, dungeons and raids.

Why? Well, a large amount of players focused on those instead of Boja when they had the opportunity so the resources on a relic zone is going elsewhere.
