What a waste of time on CC and AV runs????

Here's our linkshells calendar for May, I went ahead and circled all the days we did AV/CC (other months are equally filled with AV/CC events) . We start events at 7PM (pst), and usually went as long as 1AM (pst). 100% of those were speed runs, and we have NEVER had a single damn DL body drop... EVER!

We also had a AV/CC marathon from the 20th - 22nd, running dungeons from the moment we woke up till we went to sleep, doing this in hopes of getting a DL body, and still NOTHING! This games drop rate system is complete f**king bullshit and I'm completely fed up with it! The game doesn't require any f**king skill at all, pickup groups can do AV/CC, EVERYTHING is just a damn time sink in this game...

BODY PIECES ???? What that lol ? Oh yeah!! they drop body pieces ,, I almost forgot ^^ But I weather go buy some Lottery .. I might get win faster then this body pieces lol ... and I got a question ,,, U guys know how long will take a full party to get a Darklight fullset lol ????

I agree Mystina, my LS's calender looks exactly like that, after around 200+ 20minute speed runs, no body...

On another note, how did you render your character that beautifully?

Close, but I think casuals feel the same way.

I do kind of hate how I see darklight bodies and instead of thinking "Wow, what a skilled player," I think "That lucky bastard."

I don't lol. Course I dont speak for all casuals. And honestly casual is such a loose term nowadays that its really hard to get into how a casual feels about anything. Are we talking casual in reference to time spent on the game? Or Casual in reference to gaming philosophy (ie play for lulz)? Do you mean casual in terms of commitment? Or casual in terms of goals (get lvl 50 as opposed to get 7/7 on moogle). Casual is so broad these days we can hardly work out a definition for it. Now if we are talking about casuals in terms of goals/gaming philosophy, they probably dont care. Its kinda like the guy who goes to vegas every year and gambles away some money he's saved up. He could care less he's pulled 0 on that slot machine 500 times. He could care less that he's never won a blackjack game in the past 2 years. The act of doing it is the reward, a favorable outcome is more like an unexpected bonus.

It's the difference between enjoyment for enjoyment's sake, and enjoyment for the sake of some lofty goal. The latter ceases to be enjoyable as soon as progress towards some lofty goal seems to stop.

They just want to keep us busy for 2.0 so dont invest to much time in this game until then xD
