Increase Castrum abandon penalty

Is this really even a problem? I can count the number of abandons I've seen over the past year on one hand. It's not like one less person makes much of a difference, anyway. The instance is easily 7-mannable. Even so, replacing the player takes seconds. It's possible there have been many abandons but I just haven't noticed them. Personally, I don't think this is broken in its current state.

From my own personal evidence, depending on if I get the adventurer in need bonus, I have gotten a full level from Prae (beginning of 86, barely touched, to 87) and so has my spouse in similar situations. In Castrum, however, even with adventurer in need, I get roughly 1/3 of a level at higher levels. Half at most. To me, that seems like a waste of a roulette.

It's not a real problem. OP wants to complain and is complaining. Maybe they had a bad day? I can hardly remember the times it has happened to me either. At worse, it's /follow and netflix and even that is rare.

I personally feel that leaving to begin with is rather foolish/stupid. They get a 30m penalty, and then they might get CM again, meaning not only did they not get Prae, they wasted the time it would have taken to clear CM originally. They also got a penalty against them. They do this again, leave again, that's 2 penalties, and an hour wasted. They do it again, they get CM again...and then eat an even harsher penalty and wasted an hour and 30 minutes of their life plus however long it took to queue. All this, when they could have just accepted what they got and just finished CM to begin with.

It's a good way to get a lot of exp for leveling alts though. You just want to throw that out the window?

I'm ok with bumping the penalty up. Make it only apply to queueing for the MSQ roulette if need be. Bump it to 1 or 2 hour penalty.

Funny enough, the Castrum I got today had one of the tanks pull all the start trash and once everyone jumped in to start killing it the tank left thus people started to die. I considered reporting them but meh, I didn't.

If that was the only avenue of leveling your alt classes then I would agree. You still have PotD/HoH, the other roulettes, your squad, and fate trains/queue spamming your highest level dungeon if you are that hard up.

It's funny as heck to watch the second or third people bail after the first eats the penalty and then they queue right back in.

Both Castrum and Prae can be completed by two people. This is not hyperbole, I've seen it done. Just keep going and the que will fill.

People already take the 30minute penalty, and if people do not want to do Castrum then they are free to take a 30min nap and leave it. You can't force people to hang out with Cid, he's just not that alluring.

They wouldn't be in MSQ if they didn't want to hang with Cid, he IS in both places. :p
