I don't believe so.

Her concept wasn't put forward, and it seems like she was the only one of her kind... save for her copies which were literally just her exact same form just sent to different planets.

If they did though, I'd prefer them to look more adult-like. The twitter-sphere has already done... extremely gross and unspeakable things with her and I don't wanna give them another child-appearing race to run off with.

Agreed. If her species was released as a playable race, it would be preferable for them to be much more adult.

Well sure, Vermins against the tide of bad guy insted of BEING the tide of bad guys might be viewed as "nice".

Anyway, if we're going to start wishing, I'd be for any race that looks less than human. Whatever they would be doesn't really matter, although I'd be more for the less popular race of machines (so unpopular in games that they're almost nonexistent, even in sci-fi games). Say, some forgotten allagan accident crawling out of the blue, or whatever. Then we'd probably need a different kind of starting quest, though, and putting such effort seems even less likely than a game that would have a playable canine race. Why is it always the flipping cats?

SE has the combined brain power of a slice of cheese baking out in Sahara desert. FFXIV team made this game what it is. SE just provided the cash and thankfully so far has kept their greedy arse hands out of it. For now.
