If you want, it's a troll, but there are still visual indicators and it's hard to miss if you concentrate a bit.
How is this guy going to get trough the fight after the last trial?
Personally I like it, the sense of danger and possibility of death are always nice touches, especially given what this expansion was/is built up to be. Plus, it's just a nice touch, I think all the encounters/bosses this expansion at story level are perfect for their level.
There's indicators. It's the glowin bit that's either left or right.
Same with the big fight after the dungeon. Mouth sparkles > she's hitting the middle of the platform. eyes sparkling > she's going to hit left and right side of the platform and the middle will be safe.
And does make sense, mouth is also in the middle and the eyes are left/right, etc.
A lot of mechanics that do not display an orange line or circle on the ground have other visual cues like this.

Real talk I used to know a guy who apparently didn't know you could zoom out for like, months of playing the game, so he just straight up didn't see a lot of things coming. I'm definitely guilty of equally silly things, so this isn't me throwing shade, it's just like. Man. It really do be that way sometimes.
