I feel that way as well... The song is AMAZING, but given the amount of activity you can have in the last zone, the song gets old quick. I'd love just the instrumental!

I feel the eerie muffled instrumental version of the track that initially plays when you get there is far more appropriate as an overall zone theme.
Though it would be a neat touch if it would switch back over to the current version if you head over towards the final part of the zone.
I don't go there often enough to be sick of it. Whenever I do, it makes a nice change from every other area. The lyrics can also be a nice reminder of our journey long after we've finished the msq. Keeps the place special.
It's a great song, but not as persistent zone music. If you stay there for a few hours gathering mats, doing side quests or FATE grinding, you soon become sick of it, which is really a shame. There is a reason zones very rarely use music with lyrics. Even "La Hee" was only during day time and not pure lyrics.
Tell me you've been farming Chibwithout telling me you've been farming Chi.
I hated the music we had before it changed to this song. I play with a headset and kept hearing very annoying tunes that made put off my headset many times because I thought I was hearing an alarm near me.
You all just dont get what the final zone is suppose to be i think. The final music fit the the zone perfectly and im glad they didnt change it
It was, it was the Torn from the Heavens segment of Endwalker Footfalls (the trailer music). I didn't word it great, but it was a very short section, on repeat even in battle and in sanctuaries. It really took me out of the moment when there was an emotional scene and then dropped right back into the repeat.
My only complaint is that the song is way too emotional for me, as is that whole zone. I think the change was put in to actually lighten the mood a bit because that place is so depressing. It’s literally a graveyard of dead civilizations where Despair itself had its abode.
The song playing after the MSQ signifies you overcame Despair and triumphed. So it’s the sight of your greatest victory.
That’s how I took it anyway.
