Final EW Zone Music

I love the song, I really do, but having it as zone music is surely the quickest way to make me sick of it. Same thing with the one Torn from the Heavens bar from Endwalker Footfalls that was reused in Labyrinthos during a good portion of the late MSQ.

Is there ever going to be a way to switch the last zone music to what it was when you first arrived to the zone?

I agree with this (and certain other parts).

Especially with the emotional scenes in Labyrinthos, it was rather jarring to be a little tears eyed then thrust back into the let’s goooooo music…even though I’m what.. looking around for 8 random scholars…?

Hey, those eight scholars wracked with depression and anxiety were the hypest part of Endwalker. Doesn't everyone love finding needles in haystacks?

It's good music, and works for epic moments as background music, but surely not as zone music. They should've restored the first muffled theme or at least removed the lyrics.
Got sick of it myself while fateing and instead muted the /bgm and am playing the first theme in background.

I agree with you. It only took one day of collecting items to craft on that map, for me to start hating this song.

I felt like the Torn from the Heavens bit that played in Labyrinthos was a section of the trailer music set on repeat. It wasn't a very long track, and I think it repeated in less than two minutes, making it sound even more repetitive. On the other hand, I, myself, loved the music for the final zone to death. The tone was just as ragged and dead as the zone I was running around in. If I had to critique it, though, I'd say it could have been quieter and more foreboding, with eerie Mass Effect-esque sounds in the background, like, I dunno, something reminiscent of the "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star"... but, I'm not an accomplished music, let alone a music composer, and I certainly have nothing on Soken.

I'm easy to please.

It was, it was the Torn from the Heavens segment of Endwalker Footfalls (the trailer music). I didn't word it great, but it was a very short section, on repeat even in battle and in sanctuaries. It really took me out of the moment when there was an emotional scene and then dropped right back into the repeat.

Yeah last zone music needs to be switched back to the version without lyrics after MSQ is completed. I end up muting background music whenever I enter zone 6.

I personally can't force myself even to visit this zone now thanks to this song. It was very cool during a story moment, very emotional. But after that it's just stupid. I want original ambient back
