I don't think it means anything and god hope not we getting any classic servers. 1.0 was killed for a reason.

This post made me rewatch all the trailers now I am emotional thank you.

Maybe there will be a point in Endwalker where we will all suddenly get the reason why SE dropped the old 1.0 trailer and collectly go Ah hah! at the same time, crashing all the servers.

They wanted to show us that Derplander picked the fucking escort leve after that huge daydream.

I'm guessing it's one of those "look how far we've come" situation.

It's hard to say if it really means anything or if they're just doing it because of the storyline ending. There's already SO MUCH they have to cover. Thavnair, Sharlyan, Garlemald, the Moon, Hydaelyn/Zodiark, the Final Days. It feels like maybe if they try to cram in Silvertear as well they may be stretching themselves thin. But we'll see.

Silvertear Lake is part of Hydaelyn's story. She is the one who made the covenant with Midgardsormr to protect whatever is under the lake. It makes sense that we're being reminded about it on the eve of the story's finale.
