Show Your Positive Experience Party

While I haven't had any memorably good dungeon party experiences outside of FC runs, none have been bad either. I'm on a fairly bilingual (JP/EN) DC so conversation tends to be minimal, which isn't a bad thing per se, but it does lead to generally technical in/out party experiences. As far as communal experiences, I've really been enjoying the positivity of the "Show Your <race>" threads here on the forums (points at Kacho). It's heartwarming to see people come together over their mutual love of a particular race and show off the character and glamours they're proud of.

We had a dps that dc'd a lot at the start of the dungeon.

We all waited til he was stable before fighting the boss. He was very grateful and kept apologizing evenn after we told him that it was fine.

I'm glad that he at least got to finish the dungeon as he was new to it.

Haukke Manor (Hard), two newbies to the instance (including me on SCH) and one person who said they did the dungeon once a long while ago. I was having fun, kinda happy I've come to grips with SCH playstyle finally. Most of the dungeon went swimmingly until the last boss. The one who had come here before said they remember something about the boss consuming the adds and wiping the group; after a little brainstorming we gave it a go and wiped - but it was alright. Two of us Googled it up and it seems that person had been right, the whole boss was a big DPS check on all adds. We went all in and at Lady Amandine, I typed out "LB" - the reaction wasn't quick enough though and we all zipped down to 1% health, and I just went ham spamming Succor and Fey Illumination in panic as I had run out of Aetherflow stacks. Miraculously I made it in time before any unanticipated bonks, and we made it!

I got praised at the end for my heals - I just replied back with thanking everyone back and saying it was a job well done all around. It was amazing.

So this is kinda cheating since it's not party interractions but the majority of my good runs are the ones where we quietly and efficiently clear dungeons. Sometimes we'll emote at each other and it's all wholesome n stuff.

But, hey, positive interractions are positive interractions and I dunno where else I could post this... but a lot of people have been randomly waving at me or petting me today. I have no idea why... but it makes me smile everytime ^.^

This one was years ago in an extreme trial though I'm not entirely sure which one. I think Titan maybe?

Was back in HW, joined a group for the fight where I think everyone was new to it. We kept wiping over and over, though no one ever complained or left the party. Kept up the attempts and managed to clear with about 1 minute left on the instance timer. Pretty enjoyable run.

Although I have been getting some rough runs lately, I do recall two awesome runs of Shisui of the Violet Tides recently with two amazing healers that managed to keep me up through the one large wall-to-wall pull after the first boss. I made sure to commend both of them, I wish I could give them all the commendations! So, thank you random Viera WHM and Roe SCH, I shall never forget you since those were the smoothest runs I have had in this game for the past week or two.

Did a stone vigil run a few days ago.

Tank was around level of duty but wearing level 19/20 armor in some slots and was getting two shotted in some pulls.

He repeatedly apologized. We Suggested he upgraded his armor. No one raged. No one quit. We helped him through and had a cool run even if it was slightly more difficult and longer.

My experiences are when everyone can play in Paglth'an in 11 min, good dps no death.

This is so rare... Most of the time it's the PL of the dead guy over and over, the sadness.

I feel there is a lot of positivity in the FFXIV community. We just have a tendency to remember our negative experiences more because they are rarer and stick out more.

The exact same thing happened to me today. Several people in my FC were experiencing massive lag and disconnects and it started while I was in Sastasha leveling my Bard. I felt terrible, kept apologizing and told them to kick me if it happens again but they were like 'nah, you're good' and basically carried me through the whole dungeon as I kept losing connection with the server. Everytime I thought the problem was fixed, it would kick up again. Thank you kind internet strangers and sorry again for whatever that madness was.
