We could have had the most iconic character in the entire Dragon Quest series as a minion, the Slime, and instead we got a damn Brickman.

I have done it before, so no, I wasn't expecting anything else. I just noted that most other events has significantly more content. That, I am sure, includes most of the 2014 seasonal events.

Still waiting for a Xenogears crossover (one can dream).

By recollection, the Shantotto event was similarly hollow, though again this was six or so years ago. Lightning's was better however. Well, after the first section. First section was just Lightning joining us to fight Crabs in La Noscea. Can't recall every seasonal event from memory, so that's about it.
