Is this a troll post? I heal and I never get to choose what tanks and dps do. I'm always having to adapt how I play because of them. If they're not very good my job can be a nightmare. I don't mind that I must adapt, I signed up for it when I chose to heal. But my point is I never just get to do what I wish lol.

...one thing they cant change is the behavior of other people - but there are already two ways for you to deal with that: report should a problem occur or avoid other people alltogther by using Trusts or squadron NPCs whenever possible (in your case Trusts are an option).

Wonder what's wrong with you all? I wrote I like my WARRIOR and I want to be able to choose my Role in Dungeons, between DD / Tank. And what is the answers I get?

- Play Class XYZ
- When you took up the job, you signed up to be a tank
- you are bad at your Role, try to learn it
- Play Solo your Warrior and in Dungeons a DD
- I don't know what you are asking for ... (Yeah FML it's so hard to read a short Posting here)
- You are Level 71 play Trust

Tanks are tanks. They will never be anything but that, so the most you can do is adjust or play something else.

Allowing tanks to be DPS would mean less tanks which means longer queues.

If i want shit then I have plenty of it in my real Live, I don't need it here. I have never asked for it. A Game should be fun but not like this. I enter a Dungeon, say Hello and try to do my Job as best as I can. But then suddenly Hell breaks loose cause the Healer forgot his Job or the DD's thinks they are now the Tank's and if all dies, I get blamed for it. Just because other Tanks pulls everything like there is no tomorrow, doesn't mean that everyone will do that. :(

And I swear by Lord Zodiark if all goes to Hell, none of those other Players in Dungeons will ever tell you that laying on the cold Floor was not your fault.

Warriors are tanks, they’re horrible at DPS. Change jobs. You have that option.

Maybe it isn't everyone else...

Are you hitting the enemies, thus *dealing damage*? If so, congrats, you're playing a DD as you put it. You're dealing damage. You also have the added benefit of being durable like a tank, so no eating dirt because you were smacked by a few dozen pool noodles. You already *have* both things you're asking for. And as a Warrior, you even have your own ways of *healing*. You already have all three roles in one class, ya silly goose. Why go to the trouble of choosing a role when you're basically all three in one?

Jobs can only do one role each. The upside is that you can play all jobs on one character and swap between them as often as you wish. You're not as restricted as you like to claim.

Warrior is never going to get an actual dps role. The closest we ever got to something like that is sch and smn, and SE have said that they regret giving them the same base class because it has made balancing them difficult. They're not going to do it again with other jobs.

You need to accept the fact that warrior is a tank and that's all it ever will be. You can continue to tank with it, play an actual dps job or go to a different game. Those are your options. What you want will never happen.

Well you have this silly idea in your head that dps and healers are on holiday while you are experiencing some manner of slavery. Of course I had a hard time taking your post seriously.

Sorry to burst your bubble but a chain pulling undergeared tank who doesn't know how to use their cds properly isn't my idea of a holiday. Neither is a dps who seems eager to be a corpse on the floor. It's not only you who can be negatively affected by how other people play.
