yeah, when you see that there is an achievment for doing it with ALL combat, you start to understand that maybe its harder to do it without them
our gatherer kept giving them hp down + paralysis and sleep
me, as the crafter kept giving my party defensive + evasion and regen
it helped a ton
but the front line of militia die so quickly. our group was having no fun at all with this so we gave up after 10 tries
hamlet defense needs either level adjustments for enemy mobs 56+ its a bit high so 50-52 range wouldn't be too bad. or allow people for form allainces and keep current mob level.
We fight mobs all the time 56+ or higher.. Like EXP Pt's in Natalan XD
Level isnt the issue i dont think.
My Party has won pretty swiftly, no Casualties (Not a single breach) and it went smooth.
Lv.2 Hamlet Defense with 32 Monsters dispatched
PT Setup was [4 WAR 1 WHM 2 DoL]
Debuffs used: ATK Down (Survival) & Poison (Quick Kill)
We owe it to the DoL! :p You have to kill the Monsters quick, while not having yourself killed.
-Take enemies off the DoH/L If they get hate.
-Buff the Militia Defend Lines, and Cure them whenever needed.
-Take enemies off Militia Defenders If they're getting too much hit.
-Just the wave before the NM spawns, try to kill/reduce the HP of the mobs quick.
-Once the NM pops, Kill him as quick as you can, before more monsters spawn.
-Have One or Two of your WAR take enemies off Supplement NPCs/DoH/L If they wander
around.
This is how my Party did it~

One thing I'm curious of is the L50 Lemur that pops at the start of the Battle and
L50 Scout Wolf that spawns before NM appears.
you could be right, but i have done those natalan parties also and even soloed few mobs at 55 but these, for some reason seem stronger then normal mobs.
