A lot of your ideas are things they're aware of that people want, but they've been unable to implement due to server limitations. We'll never have enough glamour plates, for example. Ideally we could have as many as we want, but they can't give us unlimited plates.
Quite right. I heard some time ago that they had server space issues with the glamour plates. But as things change that situation could also change. I don't think it can hurt to keep the notion fresh in their minds. And I'm not sure infinite glamour plates is really the ideal...that is why I put forth the idea of one per class (and I mean every class), with maybe a few extras for things like civilian wear or swim wear. Shouldn't really need more than five extras, if that.
Appreciate the civility. :3
It's not an exact solution, but theres a current workaround to this; you can assign a glamour plate to a gear set. So in your example, say you have PLD, GNB and WAR all level 80, all with tome gear. You make three glamour plates for them, using plates 1 2 and 3. You can assign plate 1 to PLD, plate 2 to GNB, and plate 3 to WAR. Then whenever you switch to that gearset, it will auto apply the glamour to the items.
The downside to this current system is that if you change jobs outside of a main city, the glamour will not apply, since plates can only be applied in main cities. Another drawback is that you can't have the actual tome gear visible for one of the jobs, if you want. (there's a workaround for that as well though, put the tome pieces in the dresser and save them to a gearset, then remove them from the dresser and equip them.. the plate will remain saved regardless of if the items are still in the dresser. But that's taking up a glamour plate slot in order to glamour the items own appearance onto itself.. which isnt ideal.)
Anyway I think you do this in the submenu for the gearsets. It's a little clunky but for the time being its better than nothing :|
