Is Lavender Plot 3 facing direction intended?

Well its weird and it kinda sucks as that way a path must be clear from the entrance to the house, omy shorgane L house has the front gate, which leaves boths sites to be filled.... while our fc is the top L on lavender, having the side entry as well...

I like it as is. We were able to create a more interesting entrance to our FC house.

Also, the house faces one of the main natural "landmarks" of the ward (the big tree featured in workshop airship cutscenes). I'm fairly certain the placement is intentional.
