I am wondering after I got the plot, the side of the housing is facing the main entrance rather than the front of the house. Is it intended or is this an oversight of SE?

For those curious about the visual layout, I own the plot in question in a ward on my server so here's a screenshot:

Fairly certain it’s intentional. Another large in the Lavender Beds also has the entrance to the plot on the side of the house. (Plot 6 in the main ward; 36 in the subdivision.)
EDIT: Come to think of it, I think all larges in the Beds are like this.

I don't mind it, personally. It's secluded enough from other houses to feel 'private' and not have to deal with neighbours who use jarring chocobo or paissa housing styles. The only downside is that the nearest market board is a bit of a distance away...but it balances out due to the incredible scenery.
Looks intentional to me, it looks good, congrats on the house.
Thank you I was thinking it will be nicer if the front side of the house is facing the main entrance.
They have similar ones on goblet too, ya, totally intended.
Yeah. Frankly easier to work with that front-facing ones too.
im baby
I have small house in the mist which also has it like this. It makes it hard to design it to look nice outside
I suspect the artist forgot to turn the houses to the front since some houses faced weird direction.
