DRK has always been the lowest priority job for SE so thats not new, im personally not surprised for the lack of ajustments.
all being said i no longer able to argue that WAR is more complex that DRK, now are equally braindead to me.
WAR was already equaly/superior to DRK dps since the start of the expansion, this changes will just put it 100% ahead of DRK and make it really close to PLD if not equal, and many jobs recived in the past Gameplay changes despite still being balanced just bcs are requested for make the experience more fun, idk why this should be a exception for DRK, but we all know DRK is not allowed to get mid expansion changes like the rest.
Personally this is why I was turned off to warrior. It felt very tight to finish an optimal rotation, but it is doable. The extra time for storms eye is a nice deep breath, and allows me to focus more on storms path for more cleaves. This is a damage increase imo, and a good one for war as I do like the class. Just didn't feel right to play, and also the non-requirements for NF. Which I think we all knew was kind of stupidly designed. Just took awhile for others to except it I think. Now that I can test incoming healing on a target dummy this is good information to know when working on DPS rotations, while also allowing me to use it more in line with infuriates and cleaves more often. NF will be important more so in single target tanking, then being highly important in AOE burst self heals. This makes warrior perfect IMO, combat flow will be very smooth and the normal warrior heavy metalness.
Yes but there isn't a unified "here's how." There's several ideas, and all of them have their merits, but that's the problem.

I wanted to mean Gameplay changes to improve the experience of the job, kinda like how SAM get changed to use Shoha or other skills/mechanics get revamped to improve the job, yeah buffs and number tweaks like everyone, but gameplay stuff? never, only sole survivor and no more and was really minor.
It has been a while since I last checked.
IF I now look on Shiva kills/ ranking then I see that WAR is by far the most unpopular class.
The median dmg is close to DRK but he still the lowest.
This unpopularity has to come from somewhere and is eventually fixed with this patch.
Gameplay mostly, WAR dps output is fine, his defensive kit is still of the best and his utility remains one of the best in terms of optimization and such, WAR unpopularity came mostly from the lack of additions with the expansion and a infinite storm of complains about nascent flash wich is "fixed" now, onslaught and how unpleasant was to run a dungeon and keep storm eye, well see who all this QoL end raising his popularity but we have to keep in mind DRK becoming WAR but with a sword and edginess have something to do with his pick rate too considering the marketing and the expansion theme.
