That's what I'm talking about, I just figure out it's not our hardware it's Square Enix.

So how can they explain I can play RE2 Remake with have a lot more requirements and I can't play FFXIV?

Do something about that SE, the game is expensive and simply we can't play the game because you don't get attention to it. A lot of people with less configuration can play the game, so WHY?

Nothing works: directx9, windowed mode, upgrade drivers, uninstall a full complete drivers and at all... it doesn't work... It's so hard to understand?

I've played for 300h with no worries and the game started to crash, why after all this time?

SO many people with same problem and the game is ok? I've seen many people doomed to this crash since last week. Please, do something to fix it, it's not our PC's, just understand that.

I said the same thing on my post a few days ago and the guy still gave me the same "fix." I clearly stated on my post that I've tried everything. It's like we're dealing with bots or something and nothing is done on SE's end.

Try disabling background apps from running, and if you have Microsoft Edge, make sure to not let it run in the background, you can't delete or disable it, I've tried. Also make Internet Explorer your default browser (the launcher uses IE). Don't OC your GPU and CPU.

I played for quite a while with no crashes on Friday when I made the above changes.

Yup, I think the same.

If not bots, all are just doing CTRL+C and CTRL+V for all claims about crashes and bugs.

Not to mention that we are paying monthly fees

I'm playing with the DX11 version, borderless, 1080p. I started crashing about a week ago, actually, just after installing the latest Microsoft security update KB4549951. During this period, I was also experiencing major lag spikes to sometimes up to 10s. I crashed to desktop while entering a house, and got the DX11 error message. Since then, I used a VPN to help with the terrible lag I was getting, and didn't crash until today, when my VPN was off again. This time, the game froze for several seconds during Titan HM and crashed to desktop without any error message. The game was a bit laggy at this time too.
Prior to this, I can't even remember of a single crash for the game. Just to be sure, I updated my Nvidia driver to the latest version after this second crash.

I'm not saying the things I mentioned above have something to do with the crashes, just reporting what has happened for me from just before the first crash to now.

I noticed the crash was common since like 14/04 - 21/04. And lot people were affected by the crash.

I thought something like you said about one of Microsoft updates, but even unistalling, was worthless. I'm only even here because I've tried everything on internet without a success, the only thing that gaves me little hope was uninstall the game, delete the folders (with backup only the screenshots) and install again. I played for 2 days without crash, but everything came back to "normal".

It's like when you are playing, some files get corrupted. I wanna believe that SE are investigating the problem, because even the "mod bots" stopped to reply the messages.

And I'm pretty sure the last patch messed the things up.

Just want to add to this that I also started getting the ctds this past week and now I have a character that crashes on log in. Tried making a new character and log in works just fine so the idea that it's anything on my end is completely wrong.
