dx11 crashes

Dx11 crashes in heavansward 24 man raids, and certain cutscenes in shadowbringers preventing my progression on the game, switching to dx9 doesn't work, as well as multiple other things i have attempted based on similiar problems many other have had including limiting framerates, reinstalling drivers, reinstalling ff14 etc

Please try the following to resolve the DirectX crashing:

- Update and reinstall the drivers for your graphics card as the drivers appear to be slightly out of date
- Perform a clean boot by opening the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything

Does the game crash if the resolution is changed? Have you tried running it in borderless full screen or windowed mode? Additionally, is anything over heating when this error occurs?

tried in multiple resolution and window modes and nothing works, core temps are fine even at the point of crash

Good afternoon and thank you for the reply.

Is there anything external plugged in such as headphones or flash drives? If so, please remove them along with any other external devices. Additionally, could try disabling Fullscreen Optimizations. Find the executable file for the game and right click it and select 'Properties'. Under the ' Compatibility' tab, check the box labeled ' Disable Fullscreen Optimazations' and then click 'Apply'.

I'm also getting crashes on that driver version.

There's a new one out, try giving it a go and seeing if it fixes the problem. https://www.geforce.com/drivers

Actually, scratch that. Just checked and people are having the problem on the newer driver also.

I'd roll the driver back and see whether it continues. To do so:

1. Press Windows + Pause/Break
2. Expand "Display adaptors"
3. Right click on your NVIDIA card
4. Click "Properties"
5. Go to the "Driver" tab
6. Click "Roll Back Driver"

Reboot and see how it goes.

So after a full windows reset and full wipe and reinstall of everything including ff14 the crashes stop in those particular zones, but now happens in new ones that weren't an issue before,based on it being only an issue with FF14 it's obviously a problem on SE end and not a problem with my pc, you can close this thread i no longer require assistance

It's useless... its a shame that SE don't recognize your own errors in the game... I have a pretty good hardware and I have the same Directx fatal error, and in all replys from moderators are the same..

JUST REALIZE, WE ALL HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING YOU SAID... JUST NOT WORKS.

Do something about that SE, the game is expensive and simply we can't play the game because you don't get attention to it. A lot of people with less configuration can play the game, so WHY?

Nothing works: directx9, windowed mode, upgrade drivers, uninstall a full complete drivers and at all... it doesn't work... It's so hard to understand?

I've played for 300h with no worries and the game started to crash, why after all this time?

SO many people with same problem and the game is ok? I've seen many people doomed to this crash since last week. Please, do something to fix it, it's not our PC's, just understand that.
