While they could have mitigated it a bit, most of it is just a sad limitation of the games current physics engine.
Imho that needs an overhaul the most but I doubt it'll happen anytime soon.

I fear that may be why, which is a silly reason. As someone mentioned, the amount of the times I sit, especially in that specific position (as I've seen other pictures of sitting stances, and it looks fine) is extremely small... and there's a plethora of outfits that clip already. It's up to someone if they want to buy the dress themselves, and if they don't like the clip then they're not being forced to get it -- so it /does/ seem like a very petty reason to not include a dress from 3 years ago that people really want. :)
It is surprising it's not in the game yet. I don't use the mog station much so I never noticed it missing, but for the sake of everyone wanting it I hope it gets added soon.
I'd certainly pay for it if they added it to the Mogstation.
I love this dress (I don't care about the clipping), but for some reason they are skipping it, the princess dress and the peacock glamour, they came out after this dress and we already have them. I'm looking forward to it :(
My understanding is that the China and Korea exclusive stuff are made not by SquareEnix but by the companies who license the game to run in those territories. In which case, I suspect SquareEnix has to license back any of the original content which they want to use (and maybe even pay for it per unit distributed or whatever, which would explain why such things usually end up being Mog Station gear).
Maybe for whatever reason, the Korean company in question either won't license the outfit, or is asking for some condition on its use which SquareEnix doesn't like?
I would buy it if they release at Mogstation. I really think it is a cute dress and hope that hair style saw au ra in the picture comes with it.
tbh if they did add it I might buy it just for the shoes...
I'm also still waiting on the Chinese bomber jacket.
