Agreed, this should be emergency fixed. I finished the quest and logged out. I came back on in the zones and see my screen filled with peeps and was told by a friend not to leave the zone. I am currently stuck in the zone waiting out the 2hr timer - doing nothing!!!
I only have some hours to play and the 1 evening I can play - I can't, if I want the fate. SE Failure big time on this!

I am honestly appalled that this was allowed to be crossworld contributed. This is content that SO many people were looking forward too and it was literally stolen by a handful of greedy jerks. Very few people on Adamantoise got to participate in the FATE if any, all the while being heckled by Cactuar wanderers who had formed a train to snipe and hoard every world that they could.
1) Get a life, perps
2) I agree that this should be locked from CW and ALL progress reset to zero across at entire game. Remove crossworld hunting while you're at it for all the S-rank snipers

Can only add that after doing it on Shiva (my server) we went in group to lich to do even there where we arrived 20 min before it was going to start and had no issue getting in. Wierd other servers where overloaded at that point in time
I'm on Zalera, one of the smallest servers... And almost none of us Zalera's resident could get in.
It's really sad to not be able to do the special fate for something you have contributed on your home world. And this does nothing to bring people together, shout chat is so hostile from both sides and when you add to that the ones who brag after it for leeching on other's world fate it's just too much...
They really need to adress this and fast
Same happened to me and i've been spending about all day in there but got kicked out while i was eating and couldnt get back. For me its not even about the 500 scrips the events gives (already capped them 3x so 500 more 500 less), its about experiencing it day one. But we've got used to it on Crystal with Balmung. So a group of people organized on discord an pretty much leeched all the servers and deprived everybody else from the experience so they can be lazy earning them. And they did it all over Crystal. I know SE seems to think this community is nothing but special snowflakes, but those special snowflakes ruin it for everyone, and I think its about time they put restrictions. On the Firmament, for one, and on hunts, for two. Im extremely disappointed. Ive spent all day in there getting hyped up for it and getting kicked like that at the last moment and not being able to get back was bit a... disheartening. And meanwhile there are leeches that didnt lift a finger that are gonna experience it for the 10th time today. GG SE. GG.

I was already concerned when they decided that these events would happen at a scheduled time - one where most West coasters would be going to bed and a time that most East coasters would be sleeping (10:30pm Pacific/1:30am Eastern) and the congestion doesn't help matters at all. While I thoroughly enjoyed seeing my Weaver go from 29 to 51 tonight thanks to the Ishgard Restoration, I do hope that they come up with a better way to have these events occur. I'd imagine the congestion's something that they're seeing on the backend, so I'm hoping we hear about this sooner rather than the next Live Letter.
Fully agreed. They need to eliminate server-specific event access from wanderers asap. I came to the second one a full 30 minutes early and its clogged with world visit folks.
Seriously, this needs to be an instanced area. The Firmament in my world was congested at least 40 minutes before the CE was scheduled to start, but I saw people in shout chat saying they were starting to fill up our world an entire hour and a half before it was scheduled to start.
Yes to this. It's absolutely ridiculous that people from another server can come and lock native players out of their own restoration.
This kind of thing will not be put up with very long. Squenix needs to Hotfix this ASAP.
