Excuses - best/worst you've heard in game

I've encountered at least a dozen people sucking out loud and then saying "lol sorry I'm so high/drunk lmao" as if that would make us less annoyed and somehow think it makes them cool. Even if it's true, play singleplayer games while drunk or high, don't ruin it for everyone else because you're irresponsible.

Edit: Well, that didn't turn out well.

It was back in 2.0 when we picked up a Dragoon to clear Coil turn 1. That Dragoon kept dying because he was not dodging the AoE markers at the miniboss. Then he blamed the healers, we had two White Mages and he insisted that it was not possible to clear that fight without a Scholar who keeps shielding him >.>

Of course we kicked him.

Yea Drg's defenses didn't become an issue until final coil in 2.4 100% not needing babysitting in t1 XD

"Brb gotta pick up a pack of smokes." *Leaves Raid* then "Dad was that you?" from one of the remaining members. Cleared the next pull after replacing the member who left.

About a supposed "kitten" doing something and being "drunk", it's always both excuses.

Pets and kids are valid excuses though and with how many FFXIV own pets, escpecially cats, I'm inclinded to believe that a lot of times it's not even an excuse they made up but something that actually happened. I stopped counting the number of times I heard my cats destroying something in another room or jump on my table and knock over my coffee mug or even just jump on the table and walk all over the keyboard because they want attention right NOW.
Playing videogames with cats never gets boring.
I imagine it's quite similiar with little kids. Though they probably don't stick their butts in your face when they want attention.

Most of our former static-discord-noise during raid-time was a heated one-sided argument between one member and her cat. She was more often scolding her kitty-pet then our raid-leader was giving advise and most of the wipes she caused were probably somewhat related to that, like sudden jumping attacks on the keyboard or throwing over a open bottle. Maybe the cat was on fire too at some point, I don't know. Sometimes it sure sounded like that.
