Also to those complaining about accuracy: Put some points in DEX and get a better weapon! I know very well that initially LNC seems to have terrible accuracy, but trust me by rank 35-40 with the right stats you won't be missing nearly as much. Feint is a great skill but don't rely on it completely because doing that will reduce your overall DPS, and that's not something you want to do with lancer!

Try talking to experts of other classes and you'll realize lancer is actually one of the most balanced classes in the game, fairly high accuracy, decent hp pool (although pretty terrible compared to other melee classes) and amazingly high DPS, second only to archer! (which is really the broken class at the moment).

It also gets a fairly decent MP pool too. My Lancer is 10 levels behind my Marauder and has nearly double the mana, it's definately the best class for solo grinding in my opinion.

i always keep my weapon updated and i never had any problem with accuracy.
also, keeping the dex capped helps. :3

for the advanced / combo class discussion, i'd like to see my beloved samurai back, and hopefully my profency with lances won't go waste, as they'll be able to use lance/spears as they did in XI.
also a lancer spec like there used to be in FFT wouldn't hurt: a pure knight with heavy armor and halberds, with jump of course. can't wait to see my wee-legs springing me to the moon.

I can't wait for to be able to Jump. Gets me so excited that I start to slip and speak Japanese lol. Though, I meant to say this earlier, I don't miss as much as I used to. I've been putting more in dex recently. Would be really interesting having some Sam abilities with the armoury system. Being able to mix and match some of them would be really nice. I'm still wanting to do a verson of SATA as Lancer. Call me strange, but that is something I would like to be able to do.

Yea i dont have problems with my accuracy but yea some MOBs really hard to hit always miss, dodge or something, but then is not the character fault or the system is just that the mobs really is hard to be hit, but if you miss a lot on low level mobs, your dex is definetely too low.

Also Lancer is indeed an fun class to play when you mix and match other instant cast debuff skills.

I hope they make a story quest for all the different advanced classes. If they do that you could have a choice of which advanced class you wish to become by the choice of which story quest you pick. I would be a dragoon.

Indeed I forgot to mention the awesome MP pool, I think it's either equal or very close to Archer which is quite a lot for a melee class.

I love my r50 lancer. Twisting Vice is the best WS in the game. I use it on ALL of my classes.
