We have Palace of the Dead and Heaven on High though i'm not sure if they are the same thing as I haven't tried WoW. We'll likely get another deep dungeon for 5.0 content at some point and a relic weapon system to work on in one of the patches. I feel as a casual they kept me very busy in the past.Quote:

The problem here is comparing this game to other MMOs. FF14 isn't trying to copy the whole "game only really starts at end game" formula. The story is the game. End game is the end.

The first tab target MMO didn't have this issue. And after 20 years and 28 expansions, it still doesn't. The trick that Everquest used is to do a run of Non-Leveling expansions. The issue with raising the level limit is the dungeons for 71, 73, 75, 77, 79, and the trials are ultimately discarded. Now imagine for a moment if ShB was not a leveling expansion. That means Five dungeons and two trials would have been part of the endgame right off the bat.
But more than that. Think of the quests we did 71-80. And the zones we did. All that effort, time, and resources could have simply been added as post item level 390 content instead. So this isn't to say on June 28th, we'd immediately be running all 8 dungeons and 3 trials. There'd probably be more than that, and set up in little item level tiers. Story could be still told in a similar way, but the areas would be smaller, and the little 'fetch' quests and the like could be eliminated.
I personally would love to see SE do an entire expansion dedicated to content rather than leveling. -

BA was one end game content that I enjoyed doing almost on a daily basis. The place was dangerous and it was fun having 56 people coordinate how to tackle the bosses there. I think they should make more dungeons with that style (not the horrid entry conditions).

- Collecting all Titles
- Clearing POTD solo
- Clearing HoH solo
- Finishing all crafting logs
- Finishing all beast tribes
- Finishing Eureka
But I agree, there's not enough stuff to do in this game........:confused: -
