If we can level a craft by taking part in Hamlet Defense much faster than we can currently by turning in battle quests on a crafting job, then I might start to level some crafts as well. Lets hope SE has that in mind already.

I know that wasn't directed at me. But I have crafted in levequest since patch and
with manual + rested exp I was getting over 1k a synth. no clue if they even stack
however I'm going to test that tonight with just rested EXP. Really hard to guage
though with the change in how quality effects exp now.
The People in this thread who say Crafting is Dull and Tedious will never be satisfied by any crafting system. It is impossible to make a Crafting System that is not Repetitive. The current 1.21 crafting is Perfect the way it is. The Skills need to be adjusted for the new system and we need a recipe book, but your not going to make a more "fun" mini game for crafting. Any mini game gets boring when it is the only thing you can do. Crafting is and always will be a Niche part of an MMO. You like it or you don't. The difference for Final Fantasy over any other MMO is people who Already Like Crafting actually get to craft and not just watch the game do it for them.
The only solution to the crafting is Boring and Repetitive problem is Content.
More EXP doesn't break the crushing boredom though.
