Please don't delete tank carbuncle from SMN

Delete it. Titan pet is useless for a DPS

There's other jobs with similar healing capabilities that also have solo duties. If those can clear it, I'm sure SMN will be just fine without a tanking pet.

he will still be at 5.0 .
the only way to make it use was to give him a team mitigation spell .

I mean, we still have the tanking chocobo, right?
Maybe they can buff the enmity generation from it.

While I think it's a shame that the tanking carby won't be an option for a meatshield anymore, I'm not overly mad because the chocobo still exists.

I wish they compromised and kept titan as the pet that can take damage, every other pet becomes invincible

smn will have a regen-medica spell. not as powerfull as whm but it will be healling. Im sure with physick, a regen like medica smn will be able to solo very well, at least for MSQ.

In SdB nobody will use damage meter anymore cause every dps job of game will do 100% good dps.

I'm very sad that tank pet is going away in 5.0, and sad that people don't seem to think it's a problem. :(

Well there is one upside to it being removed. No more people in duty finder that will refuse to switch it out.

It isn't a problem though, that's the thing. Aside from one or two niche uses or saves, tank pets are completely pointless to have.
