We are in need of a official response to the healer situation

Every time I think "man, these Sylphies can't be so obtuse that they can't tell the difference between 'change' and 'bad change' or trot out the wait and see goalposts again despite the non-Sylphies being proven correct at basically every turn", I return here, and gaze into the abyss for some reason.

It's almost like a shot game one can play. "Wait till X."

"Wait till Eureka is out." "Wait till you're Lv20." "Wait till Pagos." "Wait till Pyros." "Wait till Hydatos."
Spoiler alert: most of the concerns about Eureka were correct.

"Wait till Blue Mage is out!" "Wait till you have all the skills." "Wait till you beat Carnivale!"
Spoiler alert, most of the concerns about Blue Mage were correct.

"Wait till embargo lifts." "Wait till the job is out." "Wait till Lvx0." "Wait till EX." "Wait till Savage." "Wait till Ultimate." "Wait till x.2."
Should we wait until the servers go down at the end of XIV before we're finally allowed to give feedback? Maybe once we're getting ready for 6.0 we can give feedba--

"Wait till the embargo for x+1.0 lifts."
Darn.

Complete Exaggerations make every argument bad.
I was reading many Eureka posts and nobody said anything about waiting.
And "wait till 80" is not the same as wait forever, its only 3 weeks.

From my personal experience with this and other games the people that usually say: "wait and see" "Is just beta" more often than not are wrong.

De-Vain, I'm afraid they don't care. They're going to force whatever simplified, homogenized, basic, boring vision they have onto us whether we like it or not. There's no talking to the development team. They talk at us, not with us :(

I saw exactly that several times.

And the problem here is that you forget that once the expansion is dropped, no tool of unnecessary and gameplay-simplifying convenience can be removed and only a few select skills will ever seen even the most minor of changes. Once gameplay is gutted or streamlined, its complexity or spark cannot be returned.
That is simply the rule of thumb for any MMO, and now we've been given confirmation of the same stance from Yoshida's own words regarding removal, design intent, and skill-gap (which is only ever treated as a negative, a height from which to fall or be crushed beneath rather than a thing worth scaling).

You know what you are right, why get ahead of the problem or try to avoid it? You can just wait for the problem, get hit by it then complain that it was a problem and honestly in this case result would be roughly the same. Also i dont know if i have to say this but "i was reading many post and I found nothing" is not really a valid argument, that is on the same level as saying since i have never seeing anyone die clearly people dont die. Either way point is, its already late in the game and any if not most changes will come at 5.1 at earliest.

The whole point of saying anything before, is avoidance or correction, since we cant do any of those now, the solution is to patch up.

This constant whining is quality entertainment.

Maybe, but from a PR standpoint the game is getting absolutely shit on across a number of boards b/c of these unpopular, regrettable 5.0 changes. You'd think they would have the imagination to foresee how bad these changes were and come up with something better before unveiling them to the public, but I mean--I guess not.

Now we're going to over heal the Hell out of everything while spamming broil on the SCH. Fun man. Really, really fun...if you're like 11 and brand new to MMORPGS perhaps. Even then it's a stretch. Many kids are smart and multitask well.

They won´t do any adjustements before release. They never have.
Have some complains come true, of course, but have any of those been changed before being released? No.
