No, it is not all that I need to know. Otherwise, obviously, I wouldn't have made this post.

I don't exactly know what it is about. I have a hunch, true, but if that hunch is right, then it definitely is 'NOT' a justified warning. Hence why I'm really 'dying' to know what was deemed so offensive to warn me.
At a time when someone can find another's taste in various types of pizza offensive...yeah, it can be a difficult thing to sift through. We don't really know what SE classifies as "offensive language" but logic tells me all I should really need to know. In theory.
It's honestly infuriating. Don't get me wrong, I get we're living in a world where 'offensive' and 'safe space' have become key words and there may be no way to avoid it, and this isn't for me about making this political, but I atleast need to know WHAT i've done wrong to not repeat it.
I mean this is the equivalent of the police telling you 'you need to pay 2,000 Dollars for something you did sometime in the past. we can't tell you the details though out of privacy reasons'.
It's absolute, utter nonsense.

If one doesn't understand what this does and doesn't cover, one ought not say anything. If one does understand, then one is assuming the risk for anything one chooses to say. Nobody forces one to use colorful language in their speech.Quote:

How did their email come out?
Oh, it's definitely part of the ToS. I was just pointing out that such language is ingrained in some people's vocabulary. Definitely doesn't help them one bit while playing an MMO. Just about everyone knows what profanity entails. Offensive language though? That's an awful lot of area to cover as of late.
The GM didn't highlight the incident due to as they say, a "Privacy Policy to protect players." But I think they should have to repeat back to you what got you your violation anyway. Idc if people might find out who reported them. What are you gonna do, harrass that person and get a real strike on your account? Nah.
