FF15 Event -- "Monolith Warp" Mechanic is still broken

Um, no, just normal timing to get out of AOE in time.

its not based on luck or rng, what? i had no issue with the fight and noctis also didnt take a lot of damage. dont blame SE if you cant do mechanics right.

Overreaction much, just don't suck. Use your duty action, avoid the aoe. It's as basic as you can get.

Mechanics are easy af. I got no problems there. It's the one-shot b/s that is getting me everytime.

I just did it for the 8th time now ... Nailed every mechanic and made all Link-Strike perfectly. Noctis at 80% or higher HP. Warped to the Monolith (that Noctis wasn't using) repeatedly. End result? ... Insta-killed with a "Duty-Failed" Awesome ... fml :(

I one shot it on DRK and that's even screwing up a lot (excluding noctis having a sliver of hp left). I think the difficulty is being overblown.

Don't need to. Unlike you I one shot the duty first time with 0 issue.

Are you talking about the part where she draws you to her? You just have to wait until her cast bar is almost ending and warp to avoid the AOE without getting drawn back in to the AOE. Even if you don't time it right, it should still be minor damage instead of a one shot if you're close.
