The Crystal Tower is shown in the ShB trailer so it is technically cannon in the WOLs memories.

There aren't any ears on Y'stoya/Matola's hood either.

'Hood ears' aren't canon.

Optional content that they've recently streamlined...

They've just introduced the new race, and the new locations, via our most recent 24-man raid.

Not to mention the Crystal tower is already 'essential viewing' in the lead up to the SB 8-man raids, because Nero.

It's there for a split second during a transition, baring in mind that this is a cut trailer, and the full trailer will be shown in 9 days, most likely showing more of that clip of the Crystal Tower.
It's a new render, and not just a clip from 1.0

They analysed it in the youtube video, search 'Speakers Network' or 'Speakers of Hydaelyn' #133, it's like an hour and a half long which is why I posted it as a summary instead of suggesting everyone watches it.

In the extended teaser trailer, there's a glimpse of the tower at 0:26, but I'm pretty sure that's just pulled from the "End of an Era" trailer for ARR, which shows the Crystal Tower in the post-Answers portion; that entire segment in the trailer is using quick clips from older expansion trailers. It could be new, but it's hard to tell from that small of a clip. Otherwise, there doesn't appear to be any obvious appearance of the tower. This is not to say that the Tower isn't important to Shadowbringers, but I'd hesitate to go off of that one short flash of it.

Yep, I actually watched this today, as well. The stuff discussed here pops up roughly half an hour or so into the video if anyone's interested, and they really, really do talk for some time about it:

I feel it's all entirely plausible, but we really need something meaty to chew on in the next patch for me to fully embrace it.

For archival purposes, I made a few posts about this last month, starting a few hours after the keynote, with a few more reference shots. Iscah's still kind of wins, though.
