I hear you, even with 10 retainers and Chocobo Saddlebag x2, I'm still hurting for inventory space at times. I just do what I can to make space myself, sell something if I don't need it right then and its easy to get again. Hoarding though makes it nice when you need an item and find you already have it.
I see no other option besides at least a third retainer if I plan to Omnicraft in Shadowbringers without making serious sacrifices and that irks me. I've already cut down on anything I don't use, don't hold gear in my bags and converted all my HQ items to NQ.
If they want to push the price of the base sub up, I'd rather they were honest about it instead of trying to sneak it.
