Pyros Light and Lines, what am I doing wrong?

sure, many things in Eureka are not explained on purpose, but this "rng line" system is full retarted (sorry for the wording) and Yoshi should never have agreed to allow it in the game the way it is, without better elaboration

Oh well, I will chime in on something.

The lines should be guaranteed +1 every re roll and the RNG should only ultimately matter at the end. Meaning in 5 rolls you should have 5 lines and then the RNG fun really begins.

That's eventually what I started doing and got to 4 lines and never got my fifth due to running out of re-rolls.

I fell into that trap too and it took a while to understand it and yes this rng is the worst because once you have some decent stats you'll think twice if you go for the 5 lines or not (i only have 4 lines but the i refuse to accept roles that give me complete crap stats).

This is what makes this relic the worst that we had so far because for every other relic you could choose the secondary stats at one point.

Always accept till you have 5 lines then you can be picky when rerolling.

It took me 38 Smoldering Protean Crystals on my Bard to reach over 650 stat points on my Pyros Bard Bow, and now the stats I have aren't even optimal. I'm gonna have to go and try for more eventually, but I don't have the patience right now. I already have a full set of every class's elemental gear and 2,500 Pyros Crystals to spare.

Light farming is already the worst part of every relic. Adding even more RNG to this step is insult to injury. I don't think anyone sane was clamoring for random stats on a relic weapon.

they made it so that you could almost "break the mold" by having good luck on rolls for stats. if we could choose then the final relic wouldn't be any better than omega weapon's substats number spread.

This is another thing curbing my willingness to go into Eureka again. I'd rather be able to choose my stats rather than have to suffer a Diablo esq random chance system.

A FC mate of mine is trying to get the pyros armor, and bought a bunch of logograms and says he has all 50 actions now. Does he have to reach a certain level in Pyros to unlock the vendor to buy the armor? I want to help him but I only focused on the weapon and stopped at 30 logos actions. I'm guessing he has to progress to a certain point in the Pyros story or something to start buying the armor?

Once I unlocked 50 logos, I just had to talk to drake again to unlock the armor. For me, this happened after I had already finished the pyros story, so I don't know if there is a story quest requirement or not.

in order to unlock the armor vendor you must have at least finished a pagos elemental weapon first.
