Pyros Light and Lines, what am I doing wrong?

I've re-rolled my relic 5 times now and still only have one line. Only accepted one of those rolls due to bad stats on the other rolls. This is getting really frustrating.

Should I be accepting every roll until I get 5 lines? Is there some sort of bad luck RNG protection for getting lines that I'm not getting because I'm not accepting them?

Yes, you'll want to keep any rolls you get up to getting 5 lines, after you've accepted 5 lines every roll after that will also be 5 lines, so then you can start picking and choosing which rolls you want to keep or throw out.

Problem is, I'm stuck on one line and not getting the 2nd. Yes, RNG is RNG but this just seems absurd. My relic is only 15% of it's potential stats because of RNG.

Seems like you actually have to be lucky and have the next roll not overwrite the row you just got (in case it's a stat and an amount you like).

same problem, just wasted like 20 light and stuck on one line... this makes no sense..

its "rng" if the weapon will accept a 2nd line and not just overwrite the last??

It probably only took me 8 or so rolls to reach 5 lines but I could never get what would be considered a god tier roll. Random will be random, though I wish I could have chosen my own stats to begin with. The RNG stat system is terrible.

my bf & I accepted all of our rolls as we were unlocking our lines; it took me 10 rolls to get all 5 and it took him 21. I assume it's pure random if you unlock another line or not; just got to keep rolling unfortunately unless there's another condition that has been discovered. Just keep accepting them since the stats before the 5th line rolls don't matter too much.

He mentioned it took him 8 rolls before he even got his 2nd line.

12 rolls till I got 5 lines.....that step alone makes Pyros the worse in my opinion

You have to accept the rolls for new lines to be added later. I did it 5 times before while rejecting all of them and never got a new line. When I started to accept them, after my next 5 rolls, I started getting a line each new roll till I got 5 lines.

At the beginning you want to accept everything that gives you more lines doesn't matter the stats. After that you can start with the actual "joy" of this weapon and farm light until you get decent stats.
Everything about this light step is frustrating not just the way to the 5 lines, exept you are one of the luckiest people alive.
