New Job Shown Shadowbringers Teaser

Most npc I see in game using a gun blade most time hide behind a shield. Not alway but most time sooooo there some hope there.

For some reason I think it might actually be a new hand/land job. Don't know why.
Gunblade is probably a tank and I assume a healer to be announced, too.

Basically BLU is being treated just like ROG/NIN was, right?
Then in HW we got 3 new jobs.

I was so focused on Alphinaud possibly learning a new job that it didn't occur to me that Thancred could be the one to do it instead.

Thinking of it, Alphy has a blue ponytail ribbon... and Ali a red one. Hmmm.

Gunblade job class. My main will be using that one.

Just a guess but the Gunblade job could be a Dex based physical melee DPS with a bit of ranged thrown in, sort of like a physical version of a reverse Red Mage where you spend most of your time fighting up close and then leap back, unload with the gun part of your gunblade and then leap back into melee range.
If they went this route it would be cool if they leaned a bit heavier on the ranged part than they did with the melee aspect of RDM, so you are moving between melee and range a lot more, perhaps even mid-combo, making the job incredibly mobile and more "mid-range" instead of overtly melee or ranged.

It's not a dancer gunblader, it is a monk machinist.
