Rest mode the downloads are faster

I can't say if mine is slower or not because I do what everyone else does which is put it in rest mode and go to sleep. lol Even if it is slower it has 6 to 8 hours for it to download and of course it does it way earlier than that. Obviously due to time zone differences it's not gonna be bed time for everyone else, but I would say if you are a PS4 player take advantage of the new system and play another game while it updates and since you don't need to log in play on computer or surf the net lol

PSN uses 4 different CDN, some are shit, some are good. That is why sometimes you're downloading something really slow on your ps4 and then you pause and resume it and it suddenly starts downloading really fast, cause you got luck to get one of the good.
Like ppl said, leave it at rest mode cause at least it'll possibly be already updated when you try to play
