Part of the issue with Eureka in general is that unlike say old dungeons and trials you can throw into roulettes to make sure people can play them down the road, it all falls apart if you don't get people into Eureka. They'll have to nerf it substantially if SE wants anyone post SB to go back and do this content for relic glamours.
With Anemos I didn't have too many problems. The pain of the grind was frontloaded but as you gained levels it became easier to gain momentum in it, and once you hit level cap it was easier to upgrade gear for multiple jobs if you wanted to, unlike old relics where you start from scratch. I liked this.
Pagos however I have more issues with. The map design in general feels much more annoying. The canyon in the center you have to tiptoe through. The NW Aetheryte should be level 27 at most not 30 considering the level range of NMs up there. The cliffs and sleeping void dragons on them get tedious after a while. At first it was cute, walk slow past the dragons to not wake them but before the end of the zone it's just annoying. Not getting mount until level cap.
And of course they added the light grind. This felt excessive to me. Part of what I liked about Anemos was that once you hit level cap, the worst of the grinding was behind you. Sure you would need a lot of crystals and more Pazuzu kills to get multiple relics, you didn't just get them all right away, but it was much faster with the full host of NMs at your disposal. In Pagos, you have to grind out the light kettle THIRTY ONE TIMES per relic. This on top of the grind to 35 through the more frustrating to deal with map just feels like overkill to me, and I won't be entertaining the idea of doing it for a second job.
