There's plenty of use for Raw Intuition. I've actually died to Kefka Savage because the healers underestimate how much damage he can deal during transitions: I've been getting into the habit of using it for those times I expect to take several AAs in a row.Quote:

If you're truly concerned about cooldown usage, what you need to do is look at an encounter timeline. There you will see all the skills a boss will use in order and the excact time intervals, so you can determine what cooldowns need to be available at certain times.

I start my fight using ToB in my opener, holmgang the remorse, then vengeance the first doom strike.
soon afterwards, I use SiO to consume vengeance and give a shield for the party, and I activate RI, awareness, and rampart. As soon as I see the cast for Head On, I use reprisal, and stay put at the front to eat Head on.
then 90 seconds later, RI, SiO, and Rampart comes off cooldown, and that's when proximity bombs are let out. Now you can use RI for SiO to consume and help the party out, and use rampart and ToB for the upcoming doomstrike if your co-tank is too incompetent to voke off you.
The whole point is there's no need to be scared about being naked and without cooldowns so long as you take the steps for proper preliminary investigation. You can even slip into defiance with unchained active so you can keep your damage but have the safety net of tank stance.
