I mean, that quote in itself doesn't make much sense anyway, because "certain actions" can mean anything. Deployed Critlo is an action and certainly gives people a significant advantage in this, because they can eat one of these and it's hardly going to scratch them.

I don't consider it a problem if it does require sprint, either. That's a thing we have access to. Expecting us to use it occasionally aside from running faster in town makes sense from a content design perspective.

You can't guarantee a crit, so you can't design requiring a critted shield to survive an attack. If you want one, you need to be able to force crits manually. With sprint, the issue was that since its now on cooldown and you can't pop TP abilities to force it on demand, there might be issues.

The sprint thing here was more "Yoshi, don't make promises you can't really keep." I got nailed a couple of times with the last couple of attacks despite being point blank on the guys backside running with the rest, and I remembered him saying this. he has a bad habit of saying things in interviews like this, and it can kind of annoy people.

Have you only done it once? Or is this a habitual problem?

Done the raid three times in two days and multiple fights (6-9), and yeah, sprint is the only thing that works. It's generally the last two hits, which means my server positioning is just slow enough over time to be unable to outrun it.

Got hit during my first time running it, ever since then running raid mainly for card, minion, and rolls so far I have not been hit by it. I think people just are afraid to get up close. If your under him you will be hit, you have to be literally kissing his ass to avoid with out issues. So unless your lagging or moving forward I would recommend target side step to avoid. Makes it really easy.

i admit to being lazy and bad, but i just eat the first blast then chase the laser around. i never get hit other than that first one.

i literally get point blank on him while he's still prepping the blast. I know his spin shows which way he will go before he does it, but I can't always tell because im running to him after a pulverize. Trust me I get the mechanic

Honestly there's nothing wrong with this. I would infinitely rather heal you than pick you up off the floor. It might even be the optimal thing to do considering how much uptime you lose as caster.

I've done that fight 4 times now and have yet to use sprint for that portion of the fight. Didn't even cross my mind with how easy it is to just hug his hitbox and run around him at normal speeds.
