Nothing barely works but HP and MP so what exactly is the point ?Hard caps is a bad system and will ever be a bad system.
If they introduce new gear with , lets put an example.+10 str and i already have my str capped .What is even the point to gear up towards your required stat?.None.This system is made so everyone is the same.Everyone are hybrids.
Im sorry but i will never understand why people want to be hybrids on a MMO.for solo , sure.But for every aspect of the game ?
Lazy developers make lazy designs than some balancing and adjustments and stat grow could have definitely avoided this complete mess stat points are.Defending such a system because it gives you a illusion of freedom is beyond me.
Dont get me started on changing from a DoW to a DoM on this so called " freedom of choice" system.

umm most jobs in ffxi were hybrids.
pld rdm blu dnc nin drk Just to name a few hybrids. Hybrids are not bad actually just the min/maxers felt they were useless and boss ppl in the game. I was a full rdm (dd/caster) and played the job fine.
every ff character was a hybrid.
do think before posting on anti hybrids. Hybrids are versitile. Dancer was an epic hybrid of melee/ cure/ debuff. They could solo/ tank if it was needed (on some stuff) main heal if needed and pull out some nice dmg if they could use their ws buffers. -

Play fable sometime. TRry to min/max in melee only and see how good you are. Then combare it with a hybrid. All mmo have hybrid classes. Aion had some WoW does. Mabinogi is full of hybrids.

Blu and dnc perhaps could be called hybrids ,but in my eyes Blu --> damage dealer based on dmg type,stun lock beast.
Dnc i cant comment on, to me dancer was always pretty useless.Never touched this 2jobs(dnc and blu)
Nin is a DMG dealer based on SPEED, later on to be played as tank becouse of shadows, (never intended to be played this way.75 maxed gear.
Drk is a damage dealer and a stunner.NOTHIN MORE.75 maxed gear with a kraken club.
Care to show me were exactly says this jobs are hybrids ?
Im fine with some hybrids, but everything hybrids ? that is just plain boring.Why would i play a game were everything and everyone are the same ? -

personally a full rdm in ffxi was better then a backline only healer. Sorry but mix/maxing don't promote teamwork really. It promote soloing in parties. Meaning purposly increasing stats full well knowing you will out hate a tank. Sorry that shouldn't be what mmo are about. That fact it turned into this is very displeasing.
