I would assume so as well, since the way it's worded it seems less like a 'two house limit' and more of a distinction between personal and FC housing. But I don't really want to gamble on that being the case either, since it IS Square Enix... Really hope this gets clarified before Tuesday.

If not, perhaps there's someone you can trust in the fc that meets the requirements whom could purchase the plot?

That's the plan, but I'd also really like to make the run myself to increase my already incredibly poor chances. I'll figure it out one way or another...

I missed this part, granted havn't had my coffee yet but i'm glad they sticked to that. Now i can hopefully relocate my medium to a large :D

Question:

I'm aware that the houses in the new wards will be available for purchase starting on February 6th, but my question pertains to the particular time this will happen. Will it be 12 AM on February 6th? And if so, what timezone would that be, as I'm currently located in an EST timezone.

If we don't have a particular time, then at least I'll know to spend all day waiting lol.

Unknown at this time but i'm guessing it will be 6-10AM GMT (sorry i'm EU)

I thought the idea was to not have another 4.1 Savage. But with them staggering FC housing and personal housing it sounds like they are going to put in another limited amount of houses. So the personal housing gets to have another 4.2 Savage and hell FC probably will to.

If they had enough housing for everything they wouldn't bother staggering.

Any times posted on the NA site will be Pacific. I can't find posted times for the maint next week yet, otherwise I'd convert time zones for you.

Of course they're only adding a limited amount of houses. They added 6 new wards. I understand the part about server stability, and how they can only add a limited amount at a time, but they really need to figure out something better (like maybe instanced personal housing and apartments that you can upgrade in size so they're more than just an FC room). There will never be enough houses for everyone with the current system in place.

For FC houses and relocating, it will be one hour after servers come online and servers will not come online early. This means servers will go live at 2am PST/5am EST and houses will open at 3am PST/6am EST.

Personal housing is a complete unknown. They may opt to post an advance notice, as they're doing with this Feb 6th maintenance, or they could pull a Christmas 2015 and just randomly flip the switch at any time from 6am EST on Feb 6th onwards. For the sake of your sanity, I would hold out on camping plots while praying it's the former.

This is a problem. Just being in an FC doesn't mean you run the FC, have authority in the FC, or can access all the amenities. Someone may be in an FC with one character to play with friends, but they want to start their own FC on another character. They don't own the house for the other FC and may not even be able to access more than the basic items. It's not right they wouldn't be able to purchase their own FC house when they don't already own one.
